In the FAIR Perception team, we publish groundbreaking papers (e.g., SAM, SAM 2, Masked Autoencoders, Hiera) and collaborate closely with Applied Research and Meta production teams to bring the latest research findings to Meta's products for connecting billions of users.
We are driving an ambitious agenda building on the success of SAM, SAM 2, and other related works to create foundation models for computer vision and language. We develop state-of-the-art models, large-scale datasets, and interactive demos to drive impact. We are looking for engineers interested in software engineering and computer vision research.

Compensation ranges from $70.67/hour to $208,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation is based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Benefits details are available at Meta.
