Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Consultant for the Global Financial Services Practice specializing in Data to design and implement modern data platforms and governance frameworks in customer environments.

The role combines building data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and knowledge graphs to enable AI-ready data and secure operations. You will work on-site up to 50% with customers across the U.S., collaborating with AWS teams and partners to deliver scalable data solutions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3).
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, CS, data science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-grade data pipelines, data lakes, lakehouses, and data mesh architectures within enterprise environments, integrating with legacy systems and existing data governance frameworks.
• Build data products that serve multiple downstream applications and use cases—from AI/ML model training to agentic AI systems, ensuring data quality, lineage, and reliability at scale.
• Operate with autonomy within fast-moving delivery engagements, making judgments on data modeling, pipeline design, and architecture without constant oversight.
• Navigate complex data access, security, and privacy requirements.
• Architect contextual knowledge layers, including ontologies and knowledge graphs leveraging AWS Context and Bedrock Knowledge Bases.
• Collaborate across organizational boundaries to secure data access, understand source context, and resolve data quality challenges.
• Deliver iteratively when requirements are ambiguous, translating incomplete business needs into well-architected data solutions.
• Apply AI-DLC methodologies to redesign data workflows to be AI-native for accelerated scale and pace.
