Maxwood Furniture is seeking a Data Engineer to manage a growing data platform built on Microsoft Fabric and support AI-ready data warehouse infrastructure. You will collaborate with data engineers, BI analysts, and AI specialists to scale and operate the data stack.

This role offers opportunities to expand data science and data architecture skills within a fast-growing furniture company, with a focus on scalable, governance-driven data solutions on Azure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a database, data engineering, or analytics role.
• Elevated understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Spark, etc.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern ETL/ELT tools.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies in a fast-evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft Fabric dataflows and pipelines, minimizing downtime and failures.
• Establish and maintain API connections and external data integrations.
• Create standardized error reporting.
• Manage resource allocation and capacity management within Azure.
• Collaborate with AI Specialists to ensure data is structured, governed, and optimized for AI/ML workloads.
• Help optimize data access and usability for Data Engineers and BI Specialists.
• Document processes, configurations, and operational best practices.
