Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a prototype developer on the Prototyping AI Customer Engineering (PACE) team to partner with customers and other AWS teams to craft early iterations of products and solutions.

You will work across domains such as AI/ML, IoT, serverless, and agentic design, applying a builder’s mentality, strong writing and communication, and hands-on development to demonstrate business value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a developer or hands-on solutions architect.
• Ability to design and implement prototypes that demonstrate feasibility and business value.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with ability to educate and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers on use cases to define scope and design prototypes (code, CDK, docs).
• Collaborate with AWS teams to scale impact through internal and external initiatives.
• Mentor others and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
