Job summary

Carnival Corporation is seeking an AI Engineer to secure GenAI and agentic systems. This hands-on role focuses on scripting, programming, and automation to build guardrails, detections, and reusable libraries for protecting LLM and agentic applications.

You will implement prompt-level security, integrate tests into CI/CD, and operationalize findings from automated AI security platforms to reduce risk to Carnival and customer data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Strong Python/scripting and software engineering practices (version control, testing, CI/CD).
• Knowledge of GenAI/LLM, secure MCP configuration, API security, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain prompt-level security controls and guardrails for GenAI and agentic applications.
• Develop scripts, programs, and automation to operationalize prompt-security controls and policy enforcement.
• Build automated evaluation harnesses and regression test suites for prompt and agent behavior against security policies.
• Integrate prompt-security controls into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
• Build reusable libraries, SDKs, and templates to standardize secure prompting and safe tool-use.
• Enforce PHI/PII/data-protection at prompt and tool-invocation layer with least-privilege.
• Document secure-prompting best practices and drive adoption across teams.
• Translate red-team findings into prompt-layer fixes and detections.
• Research prompt-security tooling aligned to NIST AI RMF and OWASP Top 10 for LLM.
