Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking an AI Prompt Engineer to design and govern AI-assisted workflows for vulnerability and risk analytics, primarily using Microsoft Copilot within the TESS program for DHS/CISA. The role requires a TS clearance eligibility and on-site work in Arlington, VA, with an emphasis on reliable, reproducible AI outputs in a federal cybersecurity environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience with AI/ML tools or LLMs, preferably in federal/defense contexts.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering techniques (chain-of-thought, few-shot framing, system instructions).

Responsibilities

• Structured Prompt Design: craft, deploy, and refine prompts for vulnerability analysis and risk summaries.
• Model Optimization & Parametric Testing to reduce hallucinations in risk scoring and summaries.
• Governance & Prompt Library Management with version-controlled repository of prompts.
• Quality Gates & Reproducibility to benchmark prompt accuracy and repeatability across feeds.
• Operational Alignment to translate cybersecurity workflows into AI-assisted templates for delivery teams.
