CA CI is seeking an AI Prompt Engineer to help modernize how frontline personnel access information and support decision making through AI-powered tools and LLMs. You will join an Agile Solution Factory focused on rapid experimentation and learning, delivering practical, high-impact AI solutions for CBP and mission users.

The role emphasizes prompt engineering, RAG strategies, model fine-tuning support, and hands-on development experience in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, onsite in Ashburn, VA

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
• 1+ years of software development experience or relevant academic projects.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Large Language Models or other generative AI models.

Responsabilidades

• Prompt design, optimization, and iteration for various generative AI models to elicit desired behaviors.
• Conduct iterative testing and analysis to compare prompt variations and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with multiple groups to integrate prompts into existing workflows and processes.
• Stay current with LLMs, generative AI, and prompt engineering techniques.
