Job summary

ECS is seeking an AI Project Manager to work in our Arlington, VA office, guiding cross-functional teams to prototype and implement state-of-the-art AI solutions for DHS/OCIO customers.

The role requires 7+ years of IT/technology project management experience, strong leadership and communications skills, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Salary range is $130,000–$150,000 with an on-site, federal-facing environment.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of IT/technology project management experience.
  • Experience leading data science, data analytics, and data management teams.
  • Proficient in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and other PM methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong leadership and presentation skills.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of multiple data/AI projects from planning to deployment.
  • Clarify requirements with data architects, SMEs, data engineers and federal stakeholders to assess feasibility.
  • Develop and manage relationships with federal stakeholders to drive progress on initiatives.
  • Resolve blockers and align cross-functional teams around goals and technical requirements.
  • Communicate complex AI concepts and project status to diverse audiences.
  • Coordinate with ECS Centers of Excellence and other SMEs to support use case development and data integration.
  • Identify, develop and manage project schedules, resources, risks, priorities and activities.
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates to federal stakeholders.
