Job summary

A1 is seeking a skilled visual/UI designer to craft the product’s visual language across web and mobile, ensuring consistency, clarity, and delight on every screen. Qualifications

• Experience as a visual or UI designer with a portfolio across web or mobile products.
• Strong skills in typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Proficiency in Figma and experience building or contributing to design systems.
• Ability to design for dynamic content where AI output varies in length, format, tone, and reliability.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and how to design for legibility and contrast.
• Comfort designing under ambiguity, with evolving product requirements.
• Experience working closely with product and UX designers in fast-moving teams.
• Awareness of how visual cues communicate AI system behavior, trust, and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Design the visual language, design system, and UI components for A1 across web and mobile.
• Create visual patterns to help users parse AI content, distinguish system states, and understand confidence.
• Design for information density and hierarchy in AI interfaces with dynamic content.
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to translate flows into polished visuals.
• Build and maintain a design system that supports speed, consistency, and clarity.
• Define visual standards for error states, empty states, loading states, task states, and AI output.
• Provide visual assets and design specs for engineers to implement.
• Make AI-heavy interfaces feel clear and structured without overwhelming users.
