Job summary

Stellarus, a healthcare-focused innovator, seeks a Data Scientist, Consultant to translate cutting-edge AI research into real-world products. You will design, build, and deploy production-grade AI features embedded in customer-facing applications and enterprise workflows.

You will collaborate with researchers and product managers to deliver scalable ML solutions, including LLM-powered apps, AI agents, and retrieval-augmented generation, while ensuring responsible AI practices and strong software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or a quantitative field.
• 7+ years of software development, applied AI/ML, and statistical analysis.
• Proven track record shipping software products rapidly, beyond model or analysis work.
• Strong Python backend/API development experience.
• Experience with ML deployment and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy novel AI features and ML models in production.
• Design scalable LLM apps, copilots, agents, and RAG/search in customer-facing products.
• Prototype features rapidly and iterate using evaluation results.
• Contribute to architecture and development from 0 to 1.
• Collaborate with researchers and product managers to turn research into features.
• Build APIs, services, and data pipelines exposing ML capabilities.
• Optimize performance and reliability of deployed AI applications.
• Promote best practices for building and deploying ML solutions.
• Evaluate model performance with statistical analysis and improvements.
