Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst / Product Owner for a hybrid 3 days/week role with a Global Financial Institution across Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity focused on AI documentation and requirements management.

The role bridges business needs with technical solutions, ensuring epics and stories align with roadmaps and governance policies. Strong communication and Agile experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, preferably in AI projects.
• Experience creating, managing, and updating AI technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or similar PM tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, data analysis, and cloud solutions.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear business docs.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for AI initiatives.
• Define and prioritize product backlogs aligned with goals.
• Document AI models, algorithms, and data processes clearly.
• Facilitate communication between business, data scientists, and developers.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and specs.
• Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure data governance and privacy in AI documentation.
• Monitor AI product performance and drive improvements.
• Provide training and support on AI tools and documentation.
