Postman Labs was set up to facilitate rapid ideation and iteration of new products . The team indexes heavily on frugality and agility - using whatever is available to chip away at outcomes at breakneck speed.

Our goal is to create intuitive experiences that bring APIs closer to everyone. We do this by building delightful solutions for complex problems - enabling net new workflows for our users. In line with this, we’ve recently launched Postbot - our AI assistant that helps users navigate their API development journey. Labs has also shipped multi-protocol support and Flows within the last few months.

For the next phase of our growth, we’re looking more closely at Generative AI and all the advancements that come with it. We believe AI can be deeply embedded in existing products to unlock value, as well as integrate with APIs to create new and groundbreaking products. To help us with this, we’re seeking exceptional engineers to join us. If you want to get your hands dirty and work across the stack in a rapid environment that combines new technology with Postman’s production scale, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do.

Generative AI is such a new field that best practices and recommendations aren’t fully developed, which means there’s a lot for us to experiment and learn. That being said, here’s what has worked for us so far:

• Build and experiment with new ideas that will impact millions of people around the world.
• Wear multiple hats; engineering, product, design ( whatever might be needed to get the job done ). You get to own the product - right from conception and development to validation and talking to users.
• Build integrated product experiences that bridge the gap between the cutting edge of development in AI and well-crafted solutions for our 25m users.

About You.

• An experienced and product-minded Engineer (4 years +) who has the desire, flexibility and ability to wear multiple hats.
• Expertise in React and Node.js is a plus
• Background of building and shipping world-class products at scale.
• Passion and interest for AI
• Ability to build a feature from scratch and drive it to completion.
• You have a "validate first and perfect later" mentality.
• You are curious and excited about how things work under the hood.
• Self-driven, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team
