Referment is working with a legal technology company that applies AI to the work of plaintiff law firms. Its platform retrieves medical records, turns them into structured chronologies and drafts demand letters — work that personal injury, medical malpractice and workers' compensation practices have historically done by hand. The products are in daily use with law firms across the US, and product engineers sit close to the customers who depend on what they build.

You’ll join the product team as a Product Engineer, designing, developing and refining the AI-driven software behind that platform. The role is hands‑on and end to end: you’ll write production code, help shape solutions around real customer needs, and stay involved through technical onboarding and integration as firms adopt the product.

The Role

• Develop and enhance the company's AI-driven software products, with responsibility for quality, scalability and performance.
• Work closely with sales and engineering colleagues to understand customer needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Conduct product testing, debugging and optimisation so users get a seamless experience.
• Support technical implementation and troubleshooting during customer onboarding and integration.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical designs, processes and systems.

What We're Looking For
