Job summary

Agentic AI in San Francisco seeks an AI Product Engineer to build production-grade agents that reason over data and automate high-stakes work. Most companies are still experimenting with AI agents. This team already has them running in production at scale.

I'm partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed AI company in San Francisco working at the frontier of agentic AI. Its platform lets large enterprises turn their ideas into production-grade AI agents that reason over complex data, make decisions and automate high-stakes work.

This isn't a demo or a pilot. Dozens of agents are live with major enterprise customers, and after a recent Series B the company is scaling fast.

What you'll work on

• Building and shipping production AI agents that reason, plan and act on real-world data
• Taking agent workflows from prototype to production, at scale and reliably
• Building the evals, monitoring, governance and safeguards that make agents trustworthy in high-stakes environments
• Owning features end to end across the backend, the LLM/agent layer and the product
• Working directly with customers to turn ambitious ideas into shipped agents fast

• Strong software engineering skills, with hands-on experience building LLM and agent-based products

• Strong product instincts and comfort working directly with users
