About The Role:

OpenLoop’s AI-first care delivery platform is scaling fast.We’re seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead AI strategy and execution tosupport that growth. This is a high-impact role at the intersection ofartificial intelligence, healthcare, and product innovation. This productleader will drive the vision, development, and monetization of AI-poweredexperiences across our platform—delivering measurable value for patients,clinicians, and our business.

NOTE: We are looking for talent to reside / work from the San Josemetro area. This is a fully remote position, but it does require 10%travel to our headquarters in Des Moines, IA.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive the AI Product Vision & Roadmap,owning the AI strategy, prioritizing high-impact features powered by GenAI andLLMs, to transform the patient and clinician experiences.
• Identify and executeopportunities that drive net-new revenue. focused on standalone AI products.
• Evaluate workflows and implement intelligent automation that improvesquality, efficiency, and outcomes for Clinical & OperationalInnovation.
• Research, experiment and launch GTM pilots, A/B tests, and data-drivenexperiments to unlock new ARR, boost retention, and improve activationmetrics.
• Ensure ethical and responsible AI development, aligned with HIPAA,privacy, and healthcare regulatory standards.
• Ensure AI technology / solutions that havescalable capabilities, to support growth, evolution and competitive edge
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. engineering, design, legal,clinical, and business stakeholders) to ship fast and responsibly, providingregularly scheduled updates, on progress, changes, issues, anddevelopments.
• Provide leadership and support to a small team of associate ProductManagers, encouraging a positive culture of experimentation, confidentaccountability, and a strong balance of quality and speed.
• Maintain a dedicatedpulse on market trends, and competitive behavior, identifying opportunities formarket differentiation.
• Travel approximately 10% as needed for business / teammeetings, and other leadership level gatherings.

WhoYou Are

• 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years leadingAI/ML-powered products (LLMs, GenAI, NLP, recommendation systems).
• Proven ability toship and scale AI features that drive revenue, improve operations, and elevateuser experience—ideally in healthcare or other regulated industries.
• Technically fluentwith AI/ML concepts, APIs, orchestration tools (LangChain, Vertex AI), and cloudplatforms.
• Highly analytical and experienced with SQL, BI tools, experimentationframeworks, and KPI ownership (activation, payback, LTV).
• An entrepreneurialoperator that thrives in ambiguity, can move fast but methodically in theirwork, with a focus toward shipping, testing, and iterating high impactsolutions
• Strategic and effective communicator in both written and verbalpresentation, aligns executives, engineers, and clinicians around a clear AIproduct vision with measurable impact.
• Bonus points: experiencein tele-health, HIPAA-compliant product development, MLOps, or launchingzero-to-one AI products at a startup.

Remote Salary Range

$1 — $2USD
