Job summary

Orbital is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for our Los Angeles team to deliver exceptional technical support across all Orbital products. You will work at the intersection of customers, product, and engineering, investigating issues, and resolving them with guidance when needed.

You don't need a software engineering background; curiosity, technical aptitude, initiative, and growth mindset matter. You'll gain guidance as you learn our products and tools, with opportunities to develop coding

Qualifications

• Foundation in technical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to learn to read code with guidance.
• Experience with AI coding tools is a plus.
• Strong communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage technical issues across Orbital products.
• Use logs, monitoring tools, and AI assistants to diagnose problems.
• Provide guidance and perform small bug fixes with guidance.
• Own second-line technical support and coordinate with engineers.
• Escalate incidents with proper context to on-call engineers.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teams.
• Collaborate with US teams and London engineers.
