Job summary

Akillion is seeking a Technical Project Manager to bridge our clients, product vision, and the code that ships. This hands-on leadership role reads a pull request in the morning, scopes client work, and unblocks engineers to deliver projects on time and on scope.

You will own delivery end to end, translate requirements into specs, coordinate teams, and review technical work. You will lead sprint planning, standups, and status reporting, serving as the main technical contact for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering software or technology projects on time and on scope.
• Strong tooling proficiency in Jira/Asana/Linear and Git.
• Excellent communication to explain trade-offs to clients and engineers.
• Bias for ownership and accountability for outcomes.
• Willingness to work from our Jacksonville Beach, FL office on a hybrid schedule (2–3 days onsite).
• Hands-on experience shipping AI, automation, or data-platform products.
• Background in software engineering and mentoring distributed teams.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the full delivery lifecycle for client and internal projects from kickoff through launch and iteration.
• Translate requirements into technical specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate engineering, product, and client-success teams to keep timelines and priorities aligned.
• Review front-end and back-end work for feasibility, risk, and architecture discussions.
• Run sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and progress reporting.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Identify blockers and drive them to resolution.
• Help define and improve the delivery playbook as we scale.
