Job summary

AnaVation seeks a Security Automation Engineer to build and scale automated incident response workflows. You will bridge SOC and software teams, using low-code/pro-code tools and AI to reduce response times and bolster threat posture.

Responsibilities include designing playbooks, writing automation logic, API integrations, and applying LLMs for code generation. Extensive security engineering experience is favored.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years related experience in security or engineering roles.
• Certifications for IAT Level II and CSSP Infrastructure must be active by onboarding date.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end incident response playbooks in the SOAR platform.
• Develop and refine automation logic using low-code and pro-code approaches.
• Integrate security tools via REST APIs and webhooks in event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with SOC to automate triage steps and actions.
• Leverage frontier LLMs (ChatGPT, Grok, Claude) to improve automation.
