Job summary

Planet DDS is seeking an AI-Powered QA Engineer III to test SaaS and mobile products for dental offices and groups. You will leverage AI tooling to accelerate testing, design automation frameworks, and mentor peers in quality practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product and engineering teams, continuous improvement, and staying current with the latest AI-based testing approaches in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in software engineering, development, test or QA.
• Experience with AI-powered testing tools.
• Experience building automations/frameworks from scratch (Playwright preferred).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C#.
• Knowledge of test case management tools and methods.
• Jira & Zephyr Scale familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bring AI tools advocacy to the engineering team.
• Design, implement and maintain automated testing for SaaS products.
• Mentor teammates on automation and quality practices.
• Contribute to code and design reviews, estimates and task breakdowns.
• Assess and raise risks across the Planet DDS solution.
• Improve performance, scalability and reliability of Planet DDS products.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to deploy new features.
• Learn new tools and patterns relevant to the role.
• Other duties as assigned.
