Job summary

BCforward is seeking an AI + SQE Automation Engineer for a contract role in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC. The onsite position (12 months) focuses on AI-assisted testing, quality engineering, and test automation across UI, API, and end-to-end layers to boost productivity and reduce risk.

Responsibilities include designing automation frameworks, leveraging AI to optimize test cases and data, and validating data quality, controls, and compliance within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA engineering for UI, API, and end-to-end testing in Agile/Scrum.
• Proficient with automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing and AI-driven test optimization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and APIs to craft test strategies.
• Develop and maintain UI/API automation frameworks.
• Leverage AI to generate test data, scripts, and documentation.
• Perform AI-assisted impact analysis and regression scope definition.
• Create reusable automation assets and enhance test execution efficiency.
• Validate data quality, business rules, and controls.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with automated tests.
• Analyze telemetry and logs to identify quality risks and gaps.
• Collaborate on dependency analysis across code repos and services.
• Ensure AI-generated outputs are reviewed with human-in-the-loop.
