Job summary

Spectrumforce is seeking a Messaging and Streaming Platform Engineer to design, build, and support large-scale distributed messaging platforms. The role involves cloud and on-premise platforms, with a focus on Kafka and RabbitMQ, along with robust monitoring and automation using AI-assisted practices.

You will work in an agile global team, addressing performance, security, and scalability challenges while ensuring high availability of critical messaging services.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience in middleware Kafka messaging, application platforms management and distributed architecture/solutions.
• Strong proven experience in managing RabbitMQ and Kafka for large-scale enterprise distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Deep knowledge in configuration, troubleshooting, optimization of Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Desirable: AI-assisted observability or intelligent automation solutions.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes container orchestration and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support enterprise large-scale distributed Messaging platforms, including software installation, patch installation, upgrading software, disaster recovery planning and backup and recovery.
• Provide operational support for platform issues to application development teams.
• Address performance and scalability challenges posed by new or changing Kafka producers and consumers.
• Work in an agile global team setting and leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate troubleshooting and automation.
