Job summary

Yahoo Sports seeks a Manager of Design and Graphic Operations to lead live graphics across its digital programming portfolio. You will design, program, and oversee graphics that enhance storytelling, featuring data‑driven visuals and AI‑assisted workflows.

You will partner with producers, editors, engineering, and sales to deliver dynamic, brand‑consistent graphics for live and tentpole events, while optimizing production pipelines and sponsorship integration.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in graphic design and live or digital video production.
• Advanced knowledge of live graphics systems (Flowics, Tagboard, or comparable platform) and digital production workflows.
• Strong proficiency in graphic design principles, animation, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
• Experience utilizing AI‑assisted creative tools to accelerate production workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate AI outputs for technical accuracy and brand alignment.
• Experience working with live data and data‑driven visuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of live show graphics packages and visual standards across Yahoo Sports.
• Own Flowics design, programming, implementation, maintenance, and day‑to‑day operations across shows.
• Develop graphics solutions with live data, AI tooling, and sponsor integrations.
• Collaborate with production teams to translate concepts into technically viable graphics.
• Provide rapid support during live productions and ensure high‑quality graphics.
