Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) invites applications for a Senior Software Development Engineer to architect and scale an AI-powered design validation platform for AWS server hardware. You will own the design intelligence pipeline, validating schematics and layouts across motherboards and system boards against readiness standards and historical failure data.

You will extend capabilities to ingest complete design packages, derive test plans, and drive adoption across all hardware programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale an AI-powered design validation platform that automates schematic review, PCB layout analysis, and system-level design verification for next-generation AWS server hardware.
• Own the design intelligence pipeline combining deterministic rule engines with multi-agent generative AI to validate board schematics and layouts - motherboards, PCIe boards, power boards, and system boards, against operational readiness standards and historical failure data.
• Scale design validation capabilities to ingest complete design packages and derive test plans, coverage gaps, and risk flags that feed into manufacturing quality gates.
