Job summary

Sauce, a premier restaurant technology platform, is hiring an engineer to build and maintain AI-powered tools for our operations team. You’ll work directly with business stakeholders, turn feedback into shipped code within hours, and own full cycles—from scoping to deployment.

Expect high autonomy, multiple daily releases, and direct impact on restaurant growth. You’ll use Cursor.ai, n8n, OpenAI, and a modern stack (Node.js + React) to automate tasks and integrate with APIs while prioritizing

Qualifications

• Build internal tools and automation workflows for the operations team using Cursor and n8n.
• Fix bugs and ship features in fast iterations - 3-4 production releases per day.
• Design and deploy AI agents that automate repetitive operational tasks end-to-end.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and internal systems without handholding.
• Own QA - test your releases against real business logic before pushing.
• Talk directly with ops users and translate vague feedback into precise solutions.
