Qualifications

• 6+ years in data science, analytics engineering, data engineering, or related role, with hands-on data work.
• Deep SQL and strong analytics judgment for metrics, experiments, and data models.
• Strong product sense: translate stakeholder needs into usable data workflows.
• Production-oriented Python for building tools, APIs, deployment, and maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, RAG, evals, or AI-powered workflows.
• Fluency with dbt, warehouse schemas, and durable data systems.
• Builder mentality: automate manual processes and ship quickly with quality controls.
• Autonomy: able to define roadmap and execute with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents that perform data science tasks, with hypotheses formulation and actionable recommendations.
• Ensure AI systems query the data warehouse reliably using retrieval infrastructure.
• Turn existing AI-assisted workflows into repeatable, reusable data tools.
• Automate the data lifecycle with self-healing pipelines and validated dbt models.
• Ship AI-powered experiment analysis and draft informed ship/no-ship decisions.
• Develop internal data products used by stakeholders in self-serve AI interfaces.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle from problem identification to production monitoring.
