Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks an experienced Paranoids Cyber Experience Engineer to build AI-native security products for Yahoo employees, focusing on agents, skills, and tools that simplify security tasks.

The role will scale AI tooling and expand shared systems for a small team working like a large unit. You will advocate for the developer experience, partnering with Paranoids engineers and shaping solutions that meet security requirements with a user-first approach.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic AI tools.
• Proficient in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience integrating APIs and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) to connect distributed systems and automate tasks.
• Proven track record evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, safety, and security.
• Comfortable building lightweight UIs (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) for the products you ship.
• Familiarity with MySQL for database querying and management.
• Able to collaborate with engineering teams and advocate for the user.
• Strong technical writing to document work for reuse.
• Experience with or exposure to security-related work.
• Familiar with modern collaboration tools (Linear, Jira, Google Workspace)

Responsibilities

• Build employee-facing products using AI and agents, design, build, and ship skills and tools to reduce friction in security work.
• Advocate for the developer experience by partnering with security engineers and representing the user.
• Own and scale the team's AI tooling infrastructure, including plugins and internal marketplaces.
• Work closely with diverse user segments from general employees to developers and call center agents.
• Document standards and guides to enable reuse by the team.
