Ritchie Bros. is looking for a Sr. Staff Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. You will lead technical delivery of the next generation of AI-powered products, focusing on high-concurrency backend services and technical mentorship.

Candidates should have over 10 years of software engineering experience, strong skills in Python and RESTful API design. The role offers opportunities to innovate with autonomous coding agents and performance optimization of APIs.

Formación

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience, proven history of leading technical squads.
• Expert mastery of Python and proficiency in modern front-end frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills and production experience with OAuth2/JWT.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical delivery through product roadmaps and development cycles.
• Architect and develop high-concurrency backend services in Python.
• Implement API security and optimize API latency and database performance.

Conocimientos

Python (FastAPI, Django)

RESTful API design

SQL (PostgreSQL/MS SQL)

Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS)

Frontend frameworks (Angular/Typescript)
