Job summary

Visionist, Inc. seeks an AI Platform Lead to guide enterprise, LLM-powered solutions across analysts and operators. You will lead multiple engineering teams, define requirements with stakeholders, and drive adoption of AI capabilities while balancing mission needs and security in a fast-evolving environment.

You will work on a fully funded program under a TS/SCI clearance, with a focus on secure, scalable architectures and mentor teams to deliver impactful results for national security missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 12+ years in software development preferred.
• 12 years of software development experience; leadership background required.
• Experience building, leading, and mentoring engineering teams with diverse technical backgrounds.
• Experience gathering requirements from customers and end users; drive adoption of solutions.
• Hands-on experience building production applications serving hundreds to thousands of users.
• Experience designing agentic workflows or multi-agent orchestration systems.
• Experience leveraging AI coding assistants for code generation and automation.

Responsibilities

• Solicit requirements and architect an enterprise agentic platform to power autonomous workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and analysts to map workflows and automation opportunities.
• Evaluate AI models, deployment architectures, and infrastructure to balance capability, performance, and cost.
• Advise customers on AI investment strategies and resource allocation for mission impact.
• Stay current on AI technologies and promote adoption of innovative capabilities across the user base.
• Lead cross-team outreach and training to promote best practices in AI usage.
