Job summary
Visionist, Inc. seeks an AI Platform Lead to direct enterprise LLM-powered platform development for analysts, engineers, and operators across multiple domains.
You will be the primary technical voice, defining requirements, guiding implementation, and driving adoption of AI capabilities securely and at scale. You will lead several engineering teams, evaluate models and architectures, and advise on AI investment strategies to maximize mission impact while balancing security and performance.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional 4 years may substitute).
- 12 years of experience in software development.
- Experience leading engineering teams with diverse technical backgrounds.
- Experience designing agentic workflows and AI-powered applications.
Responsibilities
- Solicit requirements and architect an enterprise platform for intelligent, autonomous workflows.
- Lead multiple engineering teams, define requirements, assign work, track execution.
- Evaluate AI models, deployment architectures, and infra options for capability, performance, and cost.
- Advise customers on AI investment strategies and resource allocation to maximize mission impact.
- Promote AI adoption and conduct outreach/trainings across the user community.
