Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Document Intelligence team to build and deploy scalable AI platforms.

You will collaborate with ML researchers to turn innovative concepts into production-ready solutions, emphasizing planning, reasoning, and action execution frameworks. Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience including designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.
2+ years of Python experience with production code and systems.
2+ years in building scalable data pipelines and large-scale datasets.
2+ years deploying production services to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with Docker/Kubernetes for MLOps.

Responsibilities

Implement AI platforms focusing on tool calling, multi-agent architectures, and human-in-the-loop integrations.
Build ML infrastructure and secure RESTful microservices using Python and Kubernetes for scalable, multi-tenant runtimes.
Collaborate in design reviews and code quality initiatives to keep codebase maintainable, testable, and efficient.
