Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking two AI Platform Engineers to deploy, administer, and scale enterprise AI platforms across the organization from a hybrid model in Austin or Dallas. You will own platform operations, implement automation, and drive governance and security controls.

The role requires 8+ years of experience with enterprise platforms, strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell), and expertise in IAM, SSO, and cloud integrations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise technology platforms, infrastructure services, or SaaS products, including at least 3 years with AI/cloud/platforms.
  • Experience deploying enterprise SaaS solutions at scale is necessary.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar languages; experience with APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and enterprise systems; building data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions; knowledge of IAM, SSO, Entra ID/Azure AD, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, RBAC, and enterprise security controls; monitoring tools like Splunk or Grafana.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end deployment and implementation of enterprise AI platforms and services.
  • Own ongoing platform administration, operational management, and support activities.
  • Monitor platform availability, performance, health, adoption, and utilization metrics.
  • Drive incident resolution and coordinate vendor escalations when platform issues arise.
  • Develop and maintain operational runbooks, support procedures, and platform documentation.
  • Manage platform lifecycle activities, including upgrades, feature releases, and enhancements.
  • Define and improve operational processes, support models, and service-level objectives (SLOs).
  • Create onboarding, enablement, and training programs to drive enterprise adoption.
  • Build automation solutions using scripting to streamline platform operations.
  • Design and maintain integrations between enterprise systems, AI platforms, and APIs.
  • Develop data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions.
  • Partner with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to ensure platforms meet governance standards.

AI Platform Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Austin or Dallas, TX

Role Overview

Our organization is seeking two experienced AI Platform professionals to support the deployment, administration, and operational management of enterprise AI solutions. This role will be instrumental in supporting and scaling AI technologies across the organization, including generative AI platforms and developer productivity tools. The ideal candidate will blend platform engineering, operational excellence, and automation experience to ensure our AI platforms are secure, scalable, and well-supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end deployment and implementation of enterprise AI platforms and services.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Experience: Candidates must have 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise technology platforms, infrastructure services, or SaaS products. This includes at least 3 years of experience implementing, administering, or supporting AI, cloud, or developer productivity platforms. Experience deploying enterprise SaaS solutions at scale is necessary.
  • Technical Skills: Strong scripting and automation experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar languages is required. The role demands experience with APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and enterprise systems, as well as building data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions. A strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Entra ID / Azure Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and enterprise security controls is necessary. Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk or Grafana is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing, administering, or supporting platforms such as Anthropic Enterprise, OpenAI Enterprise, GitHub Copilot Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or Azure AI Foundry.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, and compliance.
  • Experience with software deployment and enterprise application management.
  • Familiarity with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and usage analytics.
  • Prior experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated success in introducing and scaling new technologies across large organizations.
