Job summary

Aquent is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to lead enterprise AI initiatives, deploying and managing scalable AI capabilities across the organization.

You will own platform administration, monitor health and performance, and drive lifecycle upgrades and automation to support analytics and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years supporting enterprise technology platforms or SaaS products.
• At least 3 years implementing or administering AI, cloud, or collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of enterprise AI platforms and services with seamless integration.
• Own day-to-day administration and operational support for critical AI platforms.
• Proactively monitor platform health, availability, performance, and usage trends.
• Coordinate vendor escalations and resolve platform issues quickly.
• Develop runbooks, procedures, and knowledge articles to foster a robust ops environment.
• Drive platform lifecycle actions: upgrades, feature enablement, and decommissioning.
• Define support models, SLAs, and operational metrics to ensure high-quality service.
• Create onboarding and training programs to empower teams to use AI platforms.
• Develop automation scripts for operations, provisioning, and system integrations.
• Design data extraction/transformation processes from APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end deployment of enterprise AI platforms and services, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Take ownership of the day-to-day administration and operational support for critical AI platforms.
• Proactively monitor platform health, availability, performance, and usage trends to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Act as a key liaison for vendor escalations, coordinating swift resolution of any platform issues.
• Develop comprehensive runbooks, operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge articles to foster a robust operational environment.
• Drive the full platform lifecycle, including upgrades, feature enablement, and decommissioning activities, keeping our technology stack cutting-edge.
• Define robust support models, service level objectives, and operational metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Create and implement user onboarding, training, and enablement programs, empowering teams to effectively utilize AI platforms.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated automation scripts to streamline AI platform operations, infrastructure provisioning, system integrations, and operational workflows.
• Design and execute critical data extraction and transformation processes from various enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms, supporting AI platform operations, reporting, and analytics.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience supporting enterprise technology platforms or SaaS products.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience implementing or administering AI, cloud, or collaboration platforms.
• Proven experience deploying enterprise SaaS solutions at scale in complex environments.
• Strong expertise in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar for infrastructure management, system integration, and process automation.
• Demonstrated experience in extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from APIs, databases, cloud services, and enterprise systems, including the ability to create reusable data pipelines and reports.
• Profound knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Entra ID / Azure AD, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Solid understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Enterprise Security Controls.
• Practical experience with monitoring and alerting tools and analysis platforms such as Splunk and Grafana.
• Experience managing production support, incident management, and operational processes.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

Stand Out With These Skills

• Hands‑on experience implementing or administering leading AI platforms such as Anthropic Enterprise, OpenAI Enterprise, GitHub Copilot Enterprise, or Microsoft Copilot, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Familiarity with AI governance, compliance frameworks, and model management best practices.
• Knowledge of FinOps principles, cost management, budgeting, and usage analytics for cloud and AI services.
• Understanding of software deployment and enterprise application management practices.
