Job summary

Salt is seeking a hands-on AI-focused engineer who will act as the architect, engineer, and product owner for AI initiatives. Working with operational leaders, you’ll identify inefficiencies, design scalable AI-powered solutions, build them, and continuously improve them after deployment.

Qualifications

• Extensive full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong Node.js and React skills.
• Experience building production AI applications.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, AI agents, orchestration, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n or similar).
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong API design and systems architecture experience.
• Excellent business acumen and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal direction.
