Job summary

CEU Carbon Engineering ULC is seeking an experienced AI Optimization Engineer to join our Applied AI Center of Excellence in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will leverage advanced optimization and machine learning techniques to build and improve decision systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics, strong knowledge of optimization methods, and proficiency in Python. You will work closely with team members and experts to identify relevant data and present findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of optimization methods, including dynamic, parametric, and non-parametric approaches.
• Experience designing and implementing advanced control techniques such as Model Predictive Control (MPC).
• Knowledgeable in system identification and state estimation methods such as Kalman filtering.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with Git version control.
