Job summary

Upbound Group, Inc. in Draper, Utah is seeking an AI Operations Manager to serve as the operational backbone of its AI program, owning systems, records, and governance processes. This role ensures intake, registries, and approved lists run smoothly across multiple business lines.

You will coordinate the AI Working Group, model reviews, and training logistics while delivering accurate program metrics to ELT and leadership, with hands-on influence over governance in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in program operations, project management, or similar role in a complex organization.
• Ability to drive across functions (engineering, legal, HR, leadership) without losing footing.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; reliable follow-through.
• Familiarity with AI concepts; not required to be highly technical.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar workflow tools; regulated industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the AI Inventory Register: record every AI use case, model, and capability across the organization.
• Maintain and publish the GC-approved tool list, model list, and MCP server registry with immediate reflection of changes.
• Maintain the Citizen Developer Registry with training completions and eligibility tracking.
• Manage AI use case intake triage in ServiceNow; ensure completeness and proper routing.
• Coordinate logistics for AI Working Group, Model Review Board, and AI Risk & Ethics Review Board.
• Coordinate training logistics and track completion to keep ELT/LOB leadership informed.
• Compile and own program metrics for the AI Program Scorecard and leadership reporting.
