Job summary

Ibgndt is looking for individuals to help reinvent non-destructive testing for automotive and industrial components. You will develop AI applications, work with sensor data, and provide technical consulting for international partners.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and has experience in AI development. Fluency in both German and English is essential. Join us to contribute to improving product quality and manufacturing processes.

You combine expertise inmechanical or electrical engineeringwith hands-on experience inAI applications. Our goal is to extract hidden information fromeddy current dataand other sources. By doing so, we enhancetesting reliabilityandtransparencyin the manufacturing results of critical metal components—for example, in theautomotive,aerospace, orwind energyindustries. Based on our solutions, customers can optimizeproduct quality, processes, costs, and CO₂ balance.

Tasks

• Contribute to the development of new AI applications and the further enhancement of existing solutions for non-destructive material testing
• Prepare / process sensor data, train and finalize AI models
• Gain in-depth knowledge of our industrial applications and testing processes
• Design and implement concepts and models for new applications
• Provide technical consulting for our international partners, machine manufacturers, and system integrators
• Represent the company and its solutions at technical conferences and industry events
  

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree inmechanical engineeringorelectrical engineering, with additional qualifications or practical experience in applied AI
• One to several years of practical experience in the development of AI applications is desirable
• Solid technical understanding of metals (metallurgy), mechanics, and sensor technology
• Strong proficiency in Python; additional programming languages are an advantage
• Experience inAI modeling, data preparation, data structures, and application programming
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Interest ininternational communication, collaboration, and willingness to travel
• Motivation to work independently on new challenges
• Hands-on mindsetand the drive to make the seemingly impossible possible
