Job summary

Proton.ai is hiring a UI Product Designer to own how Proton looks and works, reporting to the VP of Product. You’ll ship in a squad with PMs and engineers, and you’ll be in front of customers, watching reps use your work and iterating with AI leverage.

You’ll craft a fast, modern UI that repurposes AI for enterprise workflows, owning visual language across four products and shaping the assistant UX at scale. This is a hybrid role in Cambridge, MA or remote in the EU.

Qualifications

• Craft demonstrably yours with typography, layout, color, hierarchy and iconography, and use motion where earned.
• End-to-end delivery of shipped products with real users and ownership.
• Daily hands-on use of AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor in your practice.

Responsibilities

• Prototype in code with Claude Code or Cursor to test interactions before commitment.
• Own the design system: components, interactions, documentation, and adoption across squads.
