Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 2 for the GBSG Mid-Market Intelligence team in Mountain View to help build the AI-native ERP powering mid-market operations. You will contribute to services, data pipelines, and AI-native workflows with a strong emphasis on hands-on coding.

The role blends AI tooling, collaboration with product, design, AI scientists, and platform teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality software in an agile environment while growing technical and AI skills.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Strong OO skills in Java, Python or TypeScript.
• Hands-on Generative AI with LLMs, RAG, or agent frameworks.
• REST/JSON API integration experience.
• SDLC knowledge, unit testing and TDD.
• SQL knowledge; Spark or Kafka a plus.
• AWS or GCP cloud and CI/CD familiarity.
• Self-starter with strong communication.
• Demonstrated delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality software for the Mid-Market intelligence platform across services, data pipelines and AI workflows.
• Code roughly 80-95% hands-on, using AI-assisted tools and evaluating AI output.
• Build AI-native features: agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, tool integrations, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Participate in design reviews and automated testing, evaluating AI features with tests and datasets.
• Investigate defects using logs and metrics across QA, pre-prod, prod, and patches.
• Monitor features post-launch via instrumentation and customer signals.
• Collaborate with product, design, AI scientists, platform teams, and business units.
• Embrace team success, positive dynamics, and continuous learning.
• Commit to growing technical and AI skills to serve customers.
• Apply Agile SCRUM principles in day-to-day work.
