Job summary

Remitly, Inc. is seeking engineers to build complete applications and automation within their product area, applying AI coding agents to translate customer needs into deliverables and shipping solutions from requirements through deployment.

You will instrument solutions to measure usage and outcomes, iterate based on findings, and ensure security, privacy, reliability, and quality before shipping, collaborating with teams and engaging with customers to identify automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AI coding agents for end-to-end application development.
• Ability to write effective prompts and iterate to achieve desired outcomes.
• Understanding of full-stack applications: frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with common architectural patterns (web apps, APIs, databases, queues).
• Awareness of fundamental design principles, common UI/UX patterns, and basic product development concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret analytics (usage metrics, conversion rates, error rates).
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset.

Compensation

A starting base salary range of $144,000–$180,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders; equity is part of the total compensation plan. Additional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid parental leave, military and family care leave, mental health, and other benefits are offered.
