Job summary

Harrison Clarke is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Generalist / AI-Native) to join the San Mateo team. You will own critical technical challenges across the stack, from backend services to data processing pipelines and frontend components, leveraging AI coding agents to accelerate development.

You will work on scaling a multi-step document processing pipeline for enterprise customers, improving models where OCR and LLM tooling fall short, and ensuring reliable performance and memory

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL across backend, data, and web layers.
• Experience with React for frontend components and web apps.
• Ability to contribute across backend, data, infrastructure and frontend.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of critical technical problems and deliver outcomes.
• Move across stack as priorities evolve: backend, data, ML integration, infrastructure, frontend.
• Scale and harden a multi-step document processing pipeline for enterprise use.
• Improve models where OCR/LLMs fall short and optimize performance.
• Debug production issues and improve reliability, including memory and performance.
• Use AI coding agents to speed up development and review outputs.
