Job summary

UKG is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of AI-native, scalable enterprise platforms. You will lead backend architecture, integrate LLM-based services, and orchestrate tool/workflow integration with Salesforce for real-time data flows.

You will mentor senior engineers, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate with product, AI/ML, and business teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience and design ownership over complex distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in backend system design, RESTful/gRPC APIs, and enterprise patterns.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML applications, LLMs, or agentic frameworks into production.
• Proven experience interfacing with Salesforce and major enterprise ecosystems.

Responsibilities
