Job summary

Pipe17 is hiring an AI-native Junior Software Engineer to build software with AI across internal tools and customer-facing product. You’ll automate messy work, ship features, and contribute to agents that customers use.

You should have a track record of shipping with AI, be fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript, and enjoy turning challenges into automated solutions. This is an on-site Seattle role with competitive entry-level compensation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years out of college in software engineering.
• Track record of building software with AI: agents or tools you shipped.
• Fluency in JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL, webhooks).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and a cloud platform (AWS or similar).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build software with AI across two fronts: internal tools and customer-facing features.
• Design, build, and maintain automations, lightweight APIs, CLI tools, and web utilities in JS/TS.
• Build and integrate agents and AI-powered features into real workflows and the product.
• Implement and manage MCP / API integrations between internal systems and external services.
• Partner with product and platform engineering to turn messy problems into shipped software.
• Troubleshoot integration issues; write clear docs and onboard teammates.
• Participate in design reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning; contribute to testing.
