Job summary

Optivate is seeking a full-stack .NET engineer who is AI-native to join our ophthalmology platform. You will design, build, and maintain backend services in .NET/C#, craft responsive HTML/CSS UIs, and integrate AI features with LLMs and agentic tooling.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of professional software development experience with full-stack delivery.
• Strong experience with .NET/C# (.NET Core/.NET 10).
• Fluent in building responsive UIs with HTML/CSS.
• Proficient with AI-assisted and agentic tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot).
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into shipped systems; understands tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features for our ophthalmology platform (backend in .NET/C#, frontend in HTML/CSS).
• Use AI-native workflows and multi-agent pipelines to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Design and integrate AI-powered features, including third-party LLM integrations, safely into clinical software.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Collaborate with product, clinical, and engineering teams in an agile environment.
