Mission Driven Research in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a senior front-end developer to build the front end of a high-fidelity defense simulation framework. You will design interfaces, visualizations, and analysis tools for engineers and analysts, working in an AI-native workflow and ensuring code is fast, maintainable, and well-documented.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 7+ years in engineering or software development, and the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• You must have a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field and 7+ years of full-time professional experience.
• You must possess or be able to obtain an active Secret Security Clearance.
• Strong front-end competence in modern languages and frameworks (TypeScript/React or Angular), data visualization, and architecture fundamentals.
• Experience with front-end tools and workflows such as Git, Docker, CI/CD, and performance profiling.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools in real development workflows.
• Demonstrated history of building tangible products through shipped systems or serious side projects.
