Job summary

Pursuit is hiring a Data & Systems Manager to shape data usage and infrastructure for an AI-native organization. You will own the semantic layer, data dictionary, and internal tools, partnering with the Head of AI Strategy to build scalable systems that connect CRM, data, and workflows.

The role suits someone with 3–5 years in data, strong SQL and Salesforce experience, and a builder mindset who can drive governance, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with data analytics, data ops, BI or similar.
• Strong technical foundations (SQL, spreadsheets/Excel, CRM systems like Salesforce) and interest in AI tools.
• Builder mindset: design robust systems that solve problems long-term.
• Proven track record of data completeness and accuracy at scale.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with non-technical stakeholders.
• Clear communication with leadership; mission-driven to expand equity and opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Own data infrastructure end-to-end: semantic layer, data dictionary, internal tools.
• Turn data into insight: build reporting, dashboards, and actionable capabilities.
• Enable teams to self-serve outcomes data across systems.
• Collaborate with programs, fundraising, and operations to design data structures.
• Shape data governance and access standards for AI-native operations.
• Pilot and evaluate new AI tools and workflows interfacing with data and systems.
• Act as systems integrator: connect SaaS vendors and internal tools, manage access and workflows.
