Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks an AI-Native Software Engineer, Cloud (AWS) to design and build production-grade software hosted on AWS for both On-Prem and Cloud deployments. You will help decide build-vs-buy choices and ensure performance, security, and scalability across services.

You will leverage AI to break down user stories, code, test, and deploy fully tested software, while aligning with architectural best practices and fast-moving AI tooling.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS/CE or related field or equivalent experience.
• Fluent range of AI tech across the software lifecycle including AI-assisted coding, testing, and deployment.
• Deep hands-on experience building/ deploying production systems on AWS with customer-facing apps.
• Server-side development in Python/Java/NodeJS; frontend with React/JS variants.
• Experience building secure, large-scale fault-tolerant systems on ES, CockroachDB, Oracle, MongoDB & Kafka.
• AWS certs (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer) and/or CISSP/CCSP useful, not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-native software for cloud-based web applications.
• Decide between building vs using managed AWS services based on the problem.
• Review designs and code for scalability, security, and performance.
• Work with AI-driven tooling and maintain momentum with rapid AI evolution.
• Communicate clearly and coordinate across teams to implement solutions.
