Qualifications

• 3+ years of software testing, quality engineering, or mobile app testing.
• Strong hands-on experience testing iOS and/or Android applications.
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, Selenium.
• Experience with API testing and automated regression testing.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD environments.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks for iOS and Android apps.

Job description

Our client is seeking an AI Mobile Testing Engineer to support the quality, performance, reliability, and optimization of a high-visibility mobile application. This role will focus on building and enhancing automated testing processes while leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and application quality.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mobile application testing, test automation, and software development, along with hands-on experience using AI-powered coding and productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks for iOS and Android applications.
• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test creation, debugging, code analysis, and test maintenance.
• Use AI to identify testing gaps and opportunities to improve overall test coverage.
• Evaluate mobile application performance, reliability, usability, and scalability.
• Analyze application logs, crash reports, defects, and performance data to identify issues and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, UX/design teams, and other technical teams to resolve defects and improve application quality.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Use productivity, collaboration, and data-analysis tools to analyze test results, document findings, and improve QA processes.
• Help establish best practices for incorporating AI into software testing and quality engineering.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing strategies, automation frameworks, and QA workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or mobile application testing.
• Strong hands-on experience testing iOS and/or Android applications.
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks and tools such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, Selenium, or similar technologies.
• Experience with API testing and automated regression testing.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design teams.

Preferred Experience

• Mobile performance and optimization testing.
• Experience with crash reporting, cloud, analytics, or data platforms such as Firebase/Crashlytics, Google Cloud, BigQuery, or similar technologies.
• Experience testing consumer-facing applications at scale.
• Experience with video, streaming, real-time data, or high-traffic applications.
• Experience developing AI-assisted testing, automation, or QA workflows.
• Experience experimenting with emerging AI tools to improve software development or quality engineering processes.

Compensation: $80 to $90 an hour

Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
