Job summary

CACI is seeking a Software Engineer supporting AI/ML to lead frontend and backend development for AI research tools and rapid prototypes in a defense-focused environment. The role involves collaborating with world-class scientists and engineers across ML, NLP, CV, and large language models, while ensuring secure, scalable software deployment.

The position requires a US citizenship, 15+ years of software development, and the ability to obtain TS-SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 15+ years of software development experience
• US Citizenship required
• Experience with front- and back-end development and SDLC
• Experience with AWS (CDK, SAM, EKS)
• Proficiency with JavaScript and frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Svelte)
• Backend development with Python/Java/Node.js/C++, Go, Rust, etc.
• Docker and Kubernetes for AI deployment
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, NoSQL
• Experience with rapid prototyping and Agile methodologies
• Ability to design, test, and debug software with logical/mathematical solutions
• Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Responsibilities
