Our client, an AI-driven company impacting the energy sector, is hiring a AI/ML Software Engineer to join the team in California. The successful candidate will develop advanced AI models capable of interpreting complex content, contributing to the creation of scalable, domain-specific AI solutions that will revolutionize the energy industry.
Responsibilities
Develop and refine AI models to interpret complex documentation and concepts.
Build smart systems for efficient data navigation, document indexing and retrieval.
Partner with researchers to leverage supercomputing resources for model training.
Implement measures to reduce AI hallucinations and biases.
Write scalable, maintainable and production-ready AI code.
Contribute to open-source AI tools tailored for the energy sector.
Collaborate with industry experts to ensure accurate content interpretation and domain relevance.
Skillset
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in AI/ML software engineering.
Solid expertise in NLP, machine learning and information retrieval.
Proficient in Python and PyTorch, with familiarity in the HuggingFace ecosystem.
Practical experience building and fine-tuning Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
Experienced in large-scale data processing and distributed computing environments.
Enthusiastic about open-source development and version control.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team player.
Previous experience or strong interest in the energy sector is a bonus.
