Job summary

The appointment offers a 50/50 Ladder Rank and In-Residence track or 100% Ladder Rank, with extramural funding expectations and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• PhD in clinical mental health science or related field.
• MD or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in clinical or translational research.
• Independent, extramurally funded research program (e.g., NIH R01) as PI.
• Minimum 5+ years of published research in high-impact journals (25+ psychiatric publications).
• Minimum 5+ years of teaching/mentorship experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pioneering research in computational psychiatry and mental health.
• Secure and manage extramural funding to support research initiatives.
• Publish high-impact findings in leading scientific journals.
• Mentor and inspire the next generation of AI mental health providers and researchers.
• Develop and teach advanced courses in psychiatry and related fields (Education & Training).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to apply AI tools to clinical practice and patient care.
